Last night’s snow gave us I’ve 6″ of snow. That meant I had to shovel my driveway this morning which turned into a great opportunity to serve a neighbor and talk with some neighbors I haven’t seen this winter.
While shoveling, I saw a mom stuck in her driveway with her two kids in the car. I could have ignored it, but i couldn’t. That was my opportunity to serve them.
After pushing her out, with the help of another neighbor, I was able to engage in some small talk with some other neighbors.
As snow interrupts our routine and slows us down, look at it as your opportunity to engage with people.
