Has the American Church Crossed the Line?

While on the road yesterday I saw a church that was promoting a 30 min service.  I must say that it struck me odd and disturbed me.

Is the church toeing the line between relevance and effectiveness? Now grant it, I did not attend this service and do not know what it entails.

I don’t know what to think about this. My traditional roots say, “NOOOOOO!” But my desire for the church to reach people says “YESSSSS!!!

I’m going to have sit on this for a while, but it does get me thinking.
