In 2009, we will be journeying through the sermon on the mount. To start off this year’s launch we are beginning with a series on the Beatitudes entitled “Blessed?” Playing off the origin of the conjugated word “Beatitudes” which is Blessed Attitude, our goal is to redefine the meaning of the word “Blessed.”
We started off talking about humility.
The day overall was quite good. We had a packed house at the 10a. service with overflow maxing out the gallery and falling into the upstairs vestibule.
I tech directed this morning and the irony of today’s message came through as it seemed like we couldn’t get the little things done right. Kept us humble. No one else probably noticed them, but we did.
The band and production team did a great job today. We had the 4th camera roaming the stage getting some great band and crowd shots. We had baptisms and celebrated life change with several people. We introduced a new song that Troy wrote called “What I Need.” We had a great worship service. Today’s set was:

Tonight I got to play drums… that was fun as always, but my arms were giving out playing “We Shine” at 155bpm.
