Is it the content that makes it stick or is it the presentation? Which is more important? Is it the message or the delivery. Is it the gift or the package?

In preparing a weekend series, is it more important that the message is packaged in a relevant look or that the content is applicable and understandable.

At what point does the one take priority over the other?

This is what I’m tossing around. Is it more important that the teaching pastor is comfortable in the content even if it seems cheezy or we think we could package it with a more hip word or phrase?
