Psalm 34:1 is my favorite verse… I even have a custom license plate with this.

Wait!.. Not that one… This one…

Psalm 34:1 is not my favorite verse because it always makes me feel good or brings me a sense of security. It’s my favorite verse because it’s a principle that directs me in every situation of life.

Psalm 34:1
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

We make life circumstantial.  We respond to others based on the situation surrounding us. If we are having a good day, our interactions with others reflect the joy. When our day is frustrating, we let that frustration rub off on those we rub shoulders with. We do this more with our Heavenly Father.  It’s easy to praise Him when things are going good. But when things turn bad, He’s the first to blame or to be forgotten.

This verse transcends every occurrence of our lives. All times, means… all times.  When we feel like it. When we’re tired. Bored. Frustrated. Confused. Disappointed. Happy. Surprised. Angry. Fearful. Excited. Amused. Loved. Amazed. Thrilled. Sad.

ALL TIMES. What is your all times situation right now? It’s time to do a Psalm 34:1 exercise.

Night of Worship | Tonight (Lenexa Campus)

Tonight is a great opportunity to put Psalm 34:1 into practice at our Night of Worship at the Lenexa Campus. We will gather at 7:00pm for, what we are expecting to be, an energizing night focussed on Jesus. If last nights rehearsal is a foreshadowing of tonight, you will not want to miss.

Please remember that childcare is not provided.
