This past weekend we finished our 2 week series on Follow the Leader. The big idea was that Jesus is looking for followers who are also leaders.
Brian talked about 4 stopping points in following Jesus:
- Get serious about seeking the truth about Jesus.
- Believe Jesus is Lord and surrender to Him.
- Follow Jesus, even when His teachings get tough.
- Center your life around leading others to Jesus.
We also shared communion together and gave our yearly Thanksgiving offering. For the communion time, we debuted a new song Troy wrote. My favorite line of the song is “This is my promise, already won; paid for by the sacrifice of love.”
For the giving we sang Chris Tomlin’s “I Will Follow.” It always amazes me how many people know his songs when we introduce it. Lot’s of KLOVE love out there.
