This morning started real early and with a fun challenge… Driving!
Schaun, our Global Impact Pastor from South Africa, has been graciously driving us around these first days in the country.
This morning, at 6:30a, I had my turn at the wheel as I drove Schaun, his wife Becky, and daughter, Courtney to the airport for a trip to JoBurg.
I didn’t hit anyone, but won’t deny that I came close to a motorcycle kissing the middle of the lane.
Driving on the opposite side of the road is “different.” You have to double your awareness.
I also have hit most “robots” green (South African term for traffic lights).
Who knew I’d have to go to the opposite side of the earth to hit green lights.
