What started in 1998 with the dream of a baseball player on the Kansas City Community College ball team is now becoming a reality.

Cle Ross used to run down Parallel prkwy and while running one day he saw the KCKBA ball fields run down and had a dream of redeeming the vacant lot to serve the youth of Kansas City, KS.

That dream started becoming a reality in 2008 when he personally purchased the field and sent out 12,000 fliers for their first baseball camp, only to see 6 kids show up.

After much pursuit and hard work he, and 126 kids were able to get lights on the fields and the water running. They even were able to get the batting cages running with generators.

Today several hundred people from Westside Family Church, heartland Community Church, and Village Community Church are making his dream one step closer to becoming a reality as we reconstruct the dugouts, put on a new coat of paint, and landscape.
